Terms

Last updated 26 October 2026

Casey Web is me, Casey, working on my own in Mesa, Arizona. These are the terms for a website I build for you. They are written plainly on purpose. If any part is unclear, ask before you agree, and I will explain it.

What you are buying

Price and payment

The price is $400 for the work above, agreed in writing before I start. Extra pages are $75 each, and interactive work is $100, also agreed in writing first. There is no deposit.

You pay after you have seen the finished site and told me it is what you wanted. If you decide against it, you do not pay, and the site is not published. If any tax applies to your project, it appears on the invoice before you pay.

What I need from you

Your business name, what you do, your hours and address, a way for customers to reach you, and any photographs you want used. If that material arrives late, the one-week estimate moves with it, and I will tell you when it does.

Revisions

Two rounds of changes are included before payment. A round means a list of changes sent in one message. Small text corrections are free for thirty days after the site goes live. New sections, new pages and new features are quoted as new work before anything starts.

Ownership

When you have paid, all rights to the finished site transfer to you, the domain is in your name, and the hosting account is yours. I keep a copy of the files only for as long as needed to support the site, and I delete it on request.

Your content

You confirm that the text and photographs you send are yours to use, or that you have permission to use them. If someone claims otherwise, that is between you and them, and I will remove the material while it is sorted out.

What I do not promise

A website is not a guarantee of customers. I do not promise search rankings, traffic, or sales, and I will not claim to. What I promise is a fast, correct page that says clearly what you do and how to reach you, built the way I describe on the home page.

Cancelling

If you cancel before you have approved the site, you owe nothing and I keep the work unpublished. If you cancel after paying, the files and accounts are already yours and I will hand everything over.

If something goes wrong

If part of the site I built is broken, I fix it at no charge. Beyond that, my responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid me for the work.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Arizona. If a disagreement ever reaches a court, it would be heard in Maricopa County, which is where Mesa is.

Agreeing by email

You do not have to print or sign anything. Under Arizona law (A.R.S. ยง 44-7007), a clear written yes in an email is enough to make this agreement binding on both of us.

Ask me anything

Write to designermesa@gmail.com. I would rather answer a question now than have you sign something you are unsure about.
