The short version: this site does not track you. If you send me a message, whether through the form or by email, I have what you wrote and your address. Nothing else leaves your browser.
What I collect
Only what you send me. The form on the home page asks for your name, your email address, your business name and your message. If you email me instead, I receive your address, your name if you include it, and your message. There is no account to create and no profile built about you.
The contact form
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-handling service. When you press Send, the fields above go to Web3Forms, which forwards them to my email address. Web3Forms carries the message and your IP address at that moment; it does not receive anything else from your browser, and I use it only to receive your message.
Nothing is sent anywhere until you press Send. If you would rather not use a third party at all, email me directly and the form plays no part.
What I do not collect
- No cookies of any kind.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising code.
- No fonts, scripts or images loaded from another company's servers. The page loads entirely from this domain.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your details with anyone.
Server logs
The site is served by a hosting company, and like any web host it keeps short-lived technical records such as the IP address that requested a page. I do not use those records to identify visitors and I do not combine them with anything else.
If you become a client
To build your site I may hold logins you give me, such as domain or hosting access. Those are kept in a password manager, used only for the work we agreed, and handed to you in your own accounts when the site is finished. Once you confirm you have access, I delete my copies.
Your project material, such as text and photographs, is kept only as long as needed to do the work and support it afterwards. Ask me to delete it and I will, unless I am required to keep an invoice for tax purposes.
If your information were ever exposed in a way that matters to you, I would tell you promptly rather than wait to be asked.
Visitors from California
California law asks commercial sites to say what they collect. The categories are: identifiers you send me (name, email address) and the contents of your message. These are used to reply to you and, if we work together, to do the work. They are not sold, rented or shared. Because this site sets no cookies and runs no trackers, there is no cross-site tracking to opt out of.
Your choices
Write to designermesa@gmail.com to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. I answer these myself, usually the same day.
Children
This site is about building websites for businesses. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. I do not add tracking quietly.
